Concerned About Recovery Education (CARE)

Franklin Street Home is a sober living transition community for men released from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The men placed in our home must apply for admittance before being released from prison. The men come to Franklin Street Home with an awareness that they are being given a second opportunity to live a pro-social life. Within the first 30-days of residency, each man develops an individual action plan. Birth certificates, California State identification cards and Social Security documents are obtained. Family reunification sessions are started the first weekend the men enter Franklin Street Home. The goal of the organization is to break the cycle of incarceration by offering life style adjustment tools in a safe, spiritually nurturing environment
